ASA Arrival & Dismissal Procedures | What Every Wolf Parent Needs to Know! 

Getting our students safely to and from Allegiance STEAM Academy each day takes a community effort—and we're so grateful you're part of the pack! 

In this quick video, we walk you through our arrival and dismissal procedures to ensure a safe, smooth, and respectful experience for all ASA families. Whether you're dropping off in the morning, walking your TK/Kinder to class, or picking up after school, we’ve got you covered with everything you need to know:

School Drop Off and Dismissal Procedure Flyer (printable)

To help ensure a safe and smooth start and end to the day for all our Wolves, please review the following procedures carefully:

🚗 ARRIVAL PROCEDURES (Grades 1–8)

• Gates open at 7:30 AM, and breakfast is served from 7:30–7:50 AM.
   
• Families have two arrival options:
   
  1. Park and Walk: Park in the lot and walk your child to the front gate.
      
  2. Drop-Off Lane (Locust Ave): Pull up in front of the school where staff will assist students exiting the car.
     ➤ Parents must remain in the car to keep the line moving.
      
• After 8:00 AM: Students are considered tardy.
  ➤ Parents must park and walk students into the front office to sign them in.
  ➤ No exceptions, as staff must be inside and ready to lead students by 8:00 AM.
   
• TK & Kinder Students:
  ➤ Must not be dropped off at the front gate to walk in alone.
  ➤ Parents must park and walk them to the TK/K gate

🚘 DISMISSAL PROCEDURES (Grades 1–8)

• Families will receive a dashboard sign with their child’s name.
  ➤ Please place this sign on your dashboard during pickup.
  ➤ If the sign is not displayed, you will be required to show photo ID.
   
• Staff will call your child and assist with loading them into the car.
   
• Walk-Up Pickup:
  ➤ Parents must come to the gate and check in with staff.
  ➤ Your child will be called to meet you.
  ➤ Please bring your dismissal sign, even when walking up.
   
• Walkers (Grades 4 and up):
  ➤ A walking waiver must be completed and on file for any student walking home independently

🧸 TK/K ARRIVAL & DISMISSAL

• Drop-Off Between 7:00 and 7:30 AM:
  ➤ For ALL TK Before Care, all students (AM & PM) are dropped off at the side door in the parking lot.
   
• AM Dismissal (11:25 AM):
  ➤ Parents park and pick up at the TK gate near the parking lot.
   
• TK AM Students in Daycare (12:00 PM – 4:00 PM):
  ➤ Must be signed out at the front office. Students will be brought to the office.
   
• TK AM After 4:00 PM (Monday–Thursday):
  ➤ Daycare pickup moves to the TK/K gate.
   
• PM TK Drop-Off (between 8:00–11:25 AM):
  ➤ Drop off at the front office.
   
• PM TK Dismissal (3:10 PM):
  ➤ Pickup at the TK/K gate.
   
• 🕒 PM Daycare Pickup (3:30–5:00 PM):
  ➤ Pickup takes place at the TK/K gate.
  ➤ Please arrive before 5:00 PM. 

👦🏽 BOYS & GIRLS CLUB (After School Program)

• Parents must park in the lot and walk up to the side door to sign out their child
