Final Stretch & Full STEAM Ahead! 🚀

Dear ASA Families,

We’re officially in the home stretch! 🏁✨ As we move closer to the end of the school year, the energy on campus is electric—and our wolves are finishing strong! 💪🐾

This week marks the final round of state testing for grades 3–8, and we are SO proud of the effort and focus our students have shown. Let’s continue to cheer them on by helping them show up ready to shine! 🌟

Please remember to:

✔️ Get a good night’s sleep

✔️ Eat a healthy breakfast

✔️ Arrive on time and ready to give their best!

Consistency and strong routines make all the difference—especially now. Every moment matters as our teachers continue to deliver powerful lessons and prep for exciting end-of-year experiences like STEAM Live—a showcase of creativity, innovation, and everything our wolves have learned! 🚀🎨🔬

We also want to send a howling THANK YOU to all the incredible volunteers who joined us at our Appreciation Breakfast and those who continue to support our events and activities. Your time, energy, and love for our school do not go unnoticed! 💙🙌

Let’s keep the momentum going, stay focused, and finish this year on a high note. Together We Can make every day count and celebrate a strong finish to an unforgettable year!

🚨 Reminder! - No After-School Care (TK-8th)

This is a reminder that there will be NO Boys & Girls Club OR TK After School Care on the following days:

May 13–14 due to STEAM Live
May 19 is a regular school day for all students
May 20–22 are minimum days for all students

✅The last day of Boys & Girls Club will be Friday, May 16.

As our staff prepares for the exciting move to our new campus 🏫, we need to provide teachers with dedicated afternoon time during these minimum days. We truly appreciate your support and understanding during this important transition!

This week's school wide Social Emotional Learning (SEL) skill is: Dealing with Change

Counseling Lessons for the Week:

5th Grade will be learning about self-care and advocacy. We will go over self-care strategies and ways to advocate for yourself.

7th Grade will be learning about teamwork and will be participating in team-building activities.

🚸 Permission to Walk To/From School & Release of Liability

Dear Parents/Guardians,

If your student plans to walk home after school, we kindly ask that you complete the attached Permission to Walk To/From School & Release of Liability Form 📑.

This form ensures that we have your consent for your child to walk home safely and acknowledges that the school is not responsible for any incidents that may occur while they are walking.

Please complete and return the form to the front office to ensure your child's safety and compliance with school procedures.

Medication at School

If your child requires daily, as needed, and/or emergency medication in the health office for the 2024-2025 school year please make sure you have completed all the medication forms required.

All medication, including prescribed and over the counter must have a physician signed authorization form. Please visit the Health Office Web Page-ASA Thrive Fontana, to find all the necessary forms required for your child’s medical needs.

Immunization Requirements

This is a reminder regarding Immunization requirements for the 2024-2025 school year. If you haven't done so already, please make an appointment now with your child’s doctor to ensure that they receive all school required vaccines. You can now request access to your child’s Digital Vaccine Record to provide proof of immunizations.

The health and safety of your child is very important to us here at Allegiance STEAM Academy Thrive. Please do not forget to inform the health office of any health concerns you have regarding your child.

We are pleased to inform you that all enrolled students at Allegiance STEAM Academy are eligible to receive a healthy breakfast and lunch at school at NO CHARGE for the 2024-2025 school year! No further action is required of you.
